Supplementary Guidance

Supplementary Guidance provides details on policies in the adopted Edinburgh Local Development Plan. There are currently nine adopted Supplementary Guidance documents. These include the City Centre Retail Core published February 2017 and town centres of

  • Bruntsfield/Morningside 
  • Corstorphine 
  • Gorgie/Dalry 
  • Leith 
  • Nicholson Street/Clerk Street
  • Portobello 
  • Stockbridge
  • Tollcross

published in December 2017 and informed by public life street assessments.

The Developer Contributions and Infrastructure Delivery and Heat Opportunities Mapping Supplementary Guidance documents both published in August 2018 have been approved in finalised form and are due to be adopted in October 2018. A draft Supplementary Guidance document for the BioQuarter and South East Wedge Parkland published in December 2013
