Leith Registrars Office
Set in a complex of buildings dating from the 1930s, which includes Leith Theatre, Thomas Morton Hall and the former Leith Town Hall.
The ceremony room can hold up to 40 guests in addition to the couple and two witnesses. Your guests will go up the impressive staircase to the first floor of Thomas Morton Hall to a large reception area where they may await your arrival in comfort.
The beautiful parquet flooring of this room continues into the marriage ceremony room which is decorated in subtle shades of corn silks. The windows are enhanced by swagged and tailed curtains with voile to diffuse the sunlight.
South Queensferry Registrars Office
The registrars office is on the cobbled High Street of the historic town of South Queensferry, on the seafront between the Forth rail and road bridges.
The ceremonies take place in the impressive former council chamber with its beautiful corniced ceilings. The rose coloured seating and turquoise velvet curtains add to the elegance of the room and there are stunning views over the River Forth. The chamber can accommodate 37 guests in addition to the bride, groom and two witnesses.
A civil ceremony can also take place in a venue agreed with the registrar. Please see our directory of venues. If you would prefer to hold your ceremony in a venue not listed please contact the registrar.
