Chief Executive, Andrew Kerr

The Chief Executive's Office includes communications, strategy and insight.

Communities and Families - Executive Director, Alistair Gaw 

Education and schools, early years, lifelong learning, libraries and community centres, children's social services and school estate planning; safer and stronger communities services.

Chief Social Work Officer and Head of Safer and Stronger Communities, Jackie Irvine

Community justice; homelessness, including advice, prevention and accommodation; family and household support; CCTV; multi-agency public protection, including child and adult protection, offender management, domestic abuse, asylum seeking and refugee services.

As the Council's Chief Social Work Officer, regulation of registered services, quality assurance of adult and children's social work, and governance of the Council's statutory social work functions.

Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership and Edinburgh Integration Joint Board Chief Officer, Judith Proctor

The Health and Social Care Partnership for the City of Edinburgh Council and NHS Lothian, through the Integration Joint Board (IJB), includes: adult social work, older people's services, disability services, learning disabilities, community and primary care health services, and providing care for people in their own homes or in nursing homes.

Place - Executive Director, Paul Lawrence

Planning and development; economic development; housing and council landlord services; regulatory services including: licensing, environmental health, waste and environmental Cceansing services, parks and green spaces, bereavement and scientific services; transport and network services; public safety and major events support; cultural services; venues and museums.

Resources - Executive Director, Stephen Moir

Financial services; commercial and procurement; Lothian Pension Fund; human resources; learning and development; payroll; recruitment; legal services; internal audit; risk management; health and safety; customer services and information technology including: customer contact centre, council tax and benefits administration, transactional services and city-wide business and administrative support; property and facilities management including capital programmes, strategic asset management, property and assets investment portfolio; technical services; security, corporate and schools catering, janitorial and cleaning services.
