Taskforce (Finishing & Handling) Ltd was established in 1990 in the heart of Edinburgh. We have moved from humble beginnings in the city centre to our current 15,000 square feet unit in Portobello. We currently employ 28 staff and our aim is, and always has been, to supply a trade print finishing and distribution service of superior quality and service.
Environment:
You will work as part of a team within a busy production environment. This role would appeal to someone looking to develop a variety of skills. Full time or part time hours will be considered.
What might a day in this role look like?
Working in the production area, you will assist with various folding and binding machines (loading/unloading and packing), and will also work as part of the hand-finishing team carrying out tasks that machines cannot. A line manager will assign tasks accordingly throughout the day, and will ensure that you understand what is required. They will provide assistance where necessary and answer any questions that arise.

- Learn how to assist on various machines
- Learn to operate smaller machinery
- We always encourage staff to develop their skills
- Any training required will be provided.
What qualifications/skills are required?
- Previous experience within the print industry is not essential as training will be provided
- We are happy to consider candidates with barriers to employment
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good stamina and dexterity for handling printed material.
- H&S awareness at all times.
