Environment: 

Our Edinburgh Supported Living Service provides one-to-one support for people in their own homes, enabling them to live independently. Through providing person-centred support, you will provide people with recovery focused support to enhance their mental wellbeing. Hours as required.

What might a day in this role look like?

Duties will be across a variety of areas and include emotional and wellbeing support and advice, help and guidance on personal safety and tenancy management, budgeting and managing finances. You will also help our supported people access further information and services which may include engaging with other care professionals, accessing local amenities/groups, and providing other opportunities as required.

What qualifications/skills are required?

  • Good level of educational attainment 
  • Experience of being in a supportive and enabling role
  • Core IT skills and ability to input data, basic word processing, manage emails and electronic diary.
  • Work co-operatively with other professionals as required
  • Supports individuals in line with organisational values, policies and procedures
  • Consistently works with a person-centred approach
  • Understands recovery and works with a recovery focused approach.
