Waste Education

Money is available to support waste projects that will encourage the wider community to reduce, reuse and recycle their waste.

How much can I apply for?

  • Small grants of £50-£200
  • Larger grants of £500-£2,500

How can I apply?

You can apply if you are part of a:

  • Constituted community group (and individuals working with a community group)
  • Group of interested residents (to form a constituted Waste Action Group)
  • Not-for-profit community sector organisation (for joint applications with community residents or groups)
  • Youth group (supervised by an affiliated group, organisation or school)
  • School, Eco-Committee, Parent and Teacher Association
  • Church or Eco-Congregation

When can I apply?

There is no deadline for small grants of £50-£200.

There are four deadlines for large grants of £500-£2,500.

The upcoming deadlines are:   

  • 12 December 2011
  • 06 February 2012
  • 14 May 2012
