Short term let planning application requirements

Applications for planning permission for Short Term Lets (STLs) can be made through ePlanning.

Forms

  • On ePlanning use the 'Which Form?' to select 'Apply for permission in all other circumstances'.
  • Do not use the 'Apply for permission to carry out works in relation to an existing residential' form.
  • Provide a clear and short description of the proposal.
  • If the property is already being used as a short term let, the application is in retrospect, state this on the application form and the date the use commenced – an additional surcharge will be required. Check the fees for short term lets.

Application information required
