Private Sector Leasing (PSL)

Accessing Private Sector Leasing (PSL)

If you are homeless you may be interested in Private Sector Leasing (PSL).

PSL properties are privately owned and let through an agreement between the Council, Link Group and the home owner.

To access PSL there are certain criteria you have to meet.

You must

  • be assessed as homeless
  • be able to sustain a tenancy
  • not have any unresolved rent arrears
  • not have any unresolved Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
  • have proof of identity and proof of income.

Contact your Housing Officer for more advice on the PSL Scheme.
