Delays to rubbish and recycling collections

There are currently delays with the following collections in the Edinburgh area:

Grey bin - Colinton and Fairmilehead area

Brown bin - Almond, Drum Brae, Gyle and Forth area

Blue box - Liberton and Gilmerton area

Food bin - Almond, Drum Brae and Gyle area

Grey bin

Items that cannot be recycled should be put in the grey wheeled bin, for example

• plastic bags
• crisp packets
• tissues.

Blue box

Continue to put out electrical items and textiles with the blue box.

Find your collection day

Put bins and boxes out by 6am. Collections run until 10pm. If they are not emptied on your collection day, report it to us.
