Getting it right for every child
GIRFEC in Edinburgh
Getting it right for every child in Edinburgh is a partnership approach to delivering children's services. The partner agencies are the City of Edinburgh Council, NHS Lothian, Lothian and Borders Police and the voluntary sector. This approach links to the Scottish Government's national framework aimed at co-ordinating children's services across Scotland.
We are working together to join up children's services. This means that pregnant women, children, young people and families should get the right help at the right time and for the right length of time by an appropriately trained person.
