Advanced notification of possible utility works in 2020

Advanced notification of potential interruption to supply

As part of the works being undertaken on the Trams to Newhaven project, we will be
carrying out some utility diversion works on the tram route which may result in the
temporary loss of utility supply. Utilities that could be affected are: gas, electricity, water,
telecoms and fibre. These utility works will commence in January 2020 with a full
programme currently being finalised.

When we know the areas where we will be working we will let people living, working and
visiting the area know how they may be impacted and for how long.

During these works there may also be a requirement for additional traffic management.

If you are an elderly or vulnerable customer that may have additional needs during the
works that we need to be made aware of, please contact us on the customer helpline
number below.

We wish to assure you that every effort will be undertaken to maintain supply during the
works and we will make every effort to minimise any inconvenience.
