Notification of Parking Suspension on Lindsay Road

Find out more about the parking suspension on Lindsay Road.

To accommodate the progression of associated tram infrastructure works in the area, we are now required to make further changes to the traffic management arrangements on Lindsay Road.

From Monday 10 January 2022 parking and loading restrictions will be implemented on Lindsay Road under the project's temporary traffic regulation order (TTRO). This change will require site lines to be extended to enable north lane carriageway works. Traffic will be moved towards the southern kerb line which requires the implementation of these parking and loading restrictions.  This ensures that westbound traffic flows in the area are maintained.

Main works are expected to commence from Monday 17 January 2022. These arrangements are expected to be in place until further notice with updates being communicated via the project communication channels. All traffic management arrangements attached to the project are jointly approved by the city’s Traffic Management Review Panel (TMRP), which includes the City of Edinburgh Council, Lothian Buses and the emergency services.  As with all arrangements, we will continue to assess and make changes as required.

We would like to apologise in advance of the works for any inconvenience that may be caused and thank you for your continued patience throughout the works.
