More details on the new Halmyre Street site construction compound with further information on access arrangements and parking restrictions.
As part of the works being undertaken on the Trams to Newhaven Project, Morrison Utility Services (MUS) will be establishing a new site construction compound adjacent to the project office at 165 Leith Walk which will be accessed via the existing double gates on Halmyre Street (no’s 16-20).
What happens now?
Site preparation works have commenced in the area and delivery of site offices and materials will be ongoing until full site establishment on Monday 30 August 2021.
Parking restriction will be implemented at the entrance to the compound to allow full access.
The yard will be operating in line with the project working hours of 7am – 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 8am – 1pm. Operations may take place out with these hours for maintenance or emergency requirements in relation to the project for which notification will be given where possible via the projects communication channels.
