Haymarket Junction
We wanted to update you on our work at Haymarket junction. The taxi call forward system has been successfully installed, and we have re-opened the Haymarket Station taxi rank.
To support the taxi rank, we are aligning the cycle lanes through Haymarket junction. To do this we need to work overnight from 26 February for five nights. We can only do this safely at night when the trams stop between 12.30am and 4am.
Safety and minimising disturbance is our priority
During construction, pedestrian and traffic management measures will be installed and maintained to make sure the work can be carried out safely for everyone, including residents, businesses and our workforce.
We will work to reduce the impact of the work as much as possible and when carrying out night work, but it is likely the noise from the construction plant will cause some disturbance which is unavoidable. We’re sorry for any disturbance this may cause.
