Pre construction - Site Investigations
We are carrying out site investigation work and associated traffic management at key locations along the route. This will allow assessment of conditions and utilities underground.
Site investigations are currently underway in Section 1 (Roseburn Terrace, West Coates and Haymarket Terrace) and Section 2 (The Crescents, Manor Place, Palmerston Place, Melville Street and Randolph Place).
This site investigation work started in September this year and will continue until mid-December 2021 with a reduced performance period during the COP26 embargo. Our enabling works contractor, Balfour Beatty, is coordinating traffic management and access of residents to buildings and shops.
