Final Remedial Works - Roseburn 13 - 17 November
We will be carrying out final remedial works to the roads and pavements around the Roseburn Terrace/ Russell Road junction.
This will include line re-marking and installing a new crossing island on Roseburn Street.
The work will take place between 13 November and 17 November and will be carried out on nightshift to reduce traffic disruption.

Roseburn Street from Roseburn Place to Russell Road will be closed to traffic from 7.30pm to 5.30am, and 3-way traffic lights will be in place on the A8/Russell Road junction to control the remaining traffic. Pedestrian routes will be maintained. Roseburn Gardens will also be closed to avoid vehicles using this as an alternative route.
Safety and minimising noise are our priorities
During construction, pedestrian and traffic management measures will be installed and maintained to make sure the work can be carried out safely for everyone, including residents, business and our workforce.
We must maintain safety zones between passing vehicles and construction plant and operatives. Due to the complex and busy nature of this junction, doing this without a full closure of Roseburn Street is impossible.
We appreciate the work will be disruptive, but we will aim to get the noisiest operations complete before 11pm. However, some noise will continue throughout the night.
