Annual leave and public holidays

The new holiday year starts on 1 October. The annual leave entitlement for Quality Improvement Officers and Educational Psychologists who are full time working a standard 35 hour week is:

• 203 hours (29 days) plus 6 public holidays -if you have less than five years' continuous service at the start of the leave year. Combined annual leave and public holiday  entitlement is 245 hours.
• 238 hours (34 days) plus 6 public holidays (after five years' continuous service at the start of the leave year. Combined annual leave and public holiday entitlement is 280 hours.

Part-time employees

Annual leave entitlement will be pro-rated based on the values above.

Public holidays

There are six days fixed public holidays:

• Christmas day and Boxing day
• New Year's day and 2 January
• Good Friday and Easter Monday.
