What our teams do
The Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership is made up of City of Edinburgh Council and NHS Lothian staff who are managed together to deliver health and social care services in an integrated way. Partnership staff are responsible for all the services delegated by the Council and NHS to the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board.
The overall ambition of the Partnership is to provide the right care, at the right time, in the right place. This means that assessment, treatment and support should (as far as possible) be delivered in someone's own home or in homely setting in the community, and that hospital admissions should be minimised. The Partnership is committed to reducing delays and waiting times for assessment, care, treatment and support.
