The Roads and Infrastructure team manage, maintain, and improve the city’s transport network, with over £30 million in 2025 to 2026 aimed at road repairs, safety improvements, street lighting, and active travel (such as widening footways and creating safe school routes).
What we do
- Manage, maintain and improve Edinburgh's transport network.
- Coordinate roadworks to minimise disruption, enhance public transport, and implement environmental measures like speed reduction.
Depending on the role, and subject to approval, there may be potential to earn overtime for additional hours worked during the week, and at the weekend.
