What our teams do

Change and Transformation: This team lead and enable the council and partners to identify and successfully deliver change that matters to Edinburgh.
Customer and Digital Services: We are building a smarter, digitally connected Edinburgh. Join our IT and Digital Services teams to modernise how we deliver services, improve infrastructure, and ensure the Council is equipped for the future.
Finance and Procurement: Our Finance team help us manage public money. They are responsible for financial strategy and management within the Council and its partner bodies. Commercial and Procurement Services support all service areas across the Council to buy the goods, services and works we need to deliver Council commitments.
Human Resources: A skilled, people-focussed team who strive to deliver the best possible experience for our workforce of more than 20,000 colleagues. Join us and you'll be helping us deliver our People Strategy for 2024-2027.
Insurance Services: Responsible for not only for making all the insurance arrangements for the Council but also for the Lothian Valuation Joint Board, SEStran, Edinburgh Trams Ltd and Lothian Pension Fund investment properties.
