Description

We support people with a physical disability with a range of work - related issues. We offer support for people to

  • return to work after acquiring a physical disability
  • remain in work while living with a physical disability
  • understand their employment rights
  • explore new employment opportunities
  • explore voluntary work opportunities
  • prepare for work

Our employment and training advisor works within a team of occupational therapists. When appropriate, we can carry out occupational therapy workability assessments and rehabilitation.

We also work with the Edinburgh Community Stroke Service, which is a multi disciplinary team, supporting people who are recovering from stroke to return to, or obtain, work.
