This policy applies to all Council employees. It sets out the support we offer, noting what is statutory and what we offer on top of that. It also reflects any terms contained in the various National Schemes of Pay and Conditions of Service that apply. Naturally, any employee who exercises their statutory right to take any of the leave covered in this policy will be protected against dismissal or detriment.
