Understanding travel to work during COVID-19 pandemic
We’re asking Edinburgh employers to share their views and plans on travel to work as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, lockdown measures ease and some of you are returning to work or at least planning for it.
Insights from employers and employees will help us understand any concerns and the potential impact the return to everyday work-related travel will have on our transport network.
Travel to work survey
We recently asked 25 of Edinburgh’s largest employers to take part. This is alongside and will complement Transport Scotland’s research. They’ve recently hosted virtual workshops and are currently running a survey, which you may have taken part in.
We’re now working with Progressive Partnership to extend our research to a wide range of organisations across the city. We’re keen to speak to businesses of all sizes and from a variety of industries. Employers will be asked to take part in four online surveys - September, November, December, February – and to distribute an online survey to their employees at each stage.
How to take part
If you’re interested in taking part, please register your interest with Progressive Partnership. They will contact you to tell you more about what’s involved and you can then decide if you would like to take part.
