Stay connected - try to keep in touch with your friends and family.

Involve children and family - explain the facts but try to avoid over-exposure to news coverage on the virus.

Manage your own media intake – it’s important to keep informed but if you find the news is causing you distress then you should limit how much you watch or listen to.

Do get out to your local park or greenspace for exercise once a day but please make sure you’re following the rules for going outdoors.

Do things you enjoy – keep busy with activities such as cooking, reading, online learning and watching films. If you feel well enough you can take part in light exercise within your home or garden. Our libraries have lots of online resources.
