Thinking of becoming a childminder? Edinburgh 's children need more childminders
now! Childminding can be a flexible self employment option for parents/carers
while providing a valuable childcare service for parents going back to work
or training. However numbers of childminders are variable and Working for
Families is keen to support a programme which will help parents get the guidance
and practical help to get into childminding as a career option. Childminding
can be part-time, variable hours, weekends - whatever fits into your life.
Free training, support and grants of up to £500 are available through
Childminder Challenge to get you started.
