Child care demands are challenging for employees of all businesses, particularly where working parents are juggling work and family commitments. As an employer you no doubt know the cost to your business or the impact on your operations when work and family responsibilities come into conflict unexpectedly.

So how can we help you?

The WfF Adviser Service is available to eligible parents/carers who live in the City of Edinburgh and who are on a low income and are either trying to find employment or are struggling to stay in their job due to childcare issues. We can offer the following services to your employees:

Childcare advice and funding – finding suitable childcare and funding the initial costs of childcare for a parent who is taking up a job offer.
Helping existing staff with childcare services when there are changes in the work patterns or in the childcare needs, i.e. when a child starts in pre-school nursery or school.
Helping parents to access specialist support services to avoid them giving up a job.
