Walking
and cycling are healthy and sustainable ways to travel around
the city. Some local residents tell us about how they get
around town:
Get on your bike
“It’s
faster and cheaper for me to take the bike, and I get regular
exercise. Cycling also lets you take in your surroundings
more and stop off at a shop or the bank on the way without
having to worry about parking.”
Julia, Edinburgh
Walk
this way
“I
walk because I can… Edinburgh is a spectacular city
and walking is one of the best ways of appreciating it.
It’s also a great opportunity to window shop, or research
as I like to call it.”
Jane, Edinburgh
