Updated designs

Following on from a series of public consultation and engagement events throughout 2018, the designs for taking Trams to Newhaven were updated to better reflect the aspirations of the local community. The outcome of this collaborative design process can be viewed below. The final detailed design will be made available later this year on our website. Final Business Case (FBC)

A report accompanying the FBC was presented by the Trams to Newhaven project team at the Transport and Enviroment Committee’s meeting on Thursday 28 February who reccomended it for approval to Full Council.

The FBC sets out the robust strategic, economic, financial, commercial and management case for taking trams to Newhaven and outlines the project cost and timescales for councillors and was approved at a meeting of Full Council on 14 March .
