The Pentland Hills Regional
Park is a living, working landscape, which offers great opportunities
to experience and enjoy the outdoors. Sculpted by glaciers and water,
then shaped by people’s interactions over thousands of years,
the Pentland Hills are valued by all.
ICE ALERT - The reservoirs are freezing over and are very unstable with areas of thick ice and thin ice. Please keep off the ice at all times. If you encounter someone in difficulty, DO NOT atempt to go on the ice, dial 999 straight away.
