Plan your journey better with revamped Bustracker

Passengers in Edinburgh can now plan their journeys about the city better thanks to a major revamp of the Bustracker website.

The Bustracker website was first launched in 2008. The following year, Edinburgh was the first place in Scotland to offer  real time, mobile phone-friendly bus information to passengers on the move with the launch of a Bustracker app.

Bustracker has proved popular with demand for the website and mobile apps growing every year.

Now Bustracker has been improved to include a number of new features aimed at providing more detailed information for bus passengers.

New features include:

- information on journey times to help bus passengers plan their journeys better

- a new search function for locating hotels and places of interest in the city

- more information on bus routes including street names and postcodes

- information on bus diversions including rerouted bus stops

You can access these new functions on the revamped website .
