Welcome to the Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Board website.
The responsibility for the organisation, management and financing of Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service is shared between three parties, the Fire Board, the Chief Fire Officer, and the First Minister of the Scottish Executive.
The Fire and Rescue Board is made up of 18 Councillors drawn from across the Lothian and Borders area.
