Edinburgh Bus Station

The Bus Station, which, was opened in February 2003, is used by medium to long distance bus services operating beyond Edinburgh to destinations in Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom.

Bus Information

Electronic Displays

Scheduled bus service information is displayed on screens located at the passenger entrances, the central ticket hall and stance gates.

Information kiosks provide useful links to local bus operators, Transport Direct, Traveline, Edinburgh Airport, Local Rail and Tourist Information
It is not possible to book travel or print information from these portals.

Timetables

Timetables for the major operators are available at the bus station. These are located on the passenger concourse.
Timetables for local Lothian Buses services are also available.
Information on all services using the bus station is available from any of the ticket desks.

Ticketing Hall

Tickets for intercity services can be purchased in the ticketing hall at the times shown below. Tickets for other operators services can normally be bought on the bus, with the exception of One Ticket which is available from the Citylink desk.
