Three Good Reasons Keeping Creative Scotland in Edinburgh

As part of its public service relocation policy, the Scottish Executive is currently considering options for the future home of Creative Scotland – a new cultural development agency being set up by a merger of the Scottish Arts Council (SAC) and Scottish Screen. Creative Scotland will be responsible for developing talent and excellence in all branches of the arts as well as the creative and screen industries.

The City of Edinburgh Council believes that it is of vital importance to Edinburgh's capital city status and to its reputation and effectiveness, as the home of the world's largest arts festival, that Creative Scotland must remain in Edinburgh for the good of Scotland as a whole.
