Managing the contractual agreement with Edinburgh Leisure

The Sports Development Section has responsibility for the contractual agreement which exists between the City of Edinburgh Council and Edinburgh Leisure.  The section will ensure, through agreed procedures and systems of monitoring and evaluation, that the Culture and Leisure Department maintains the Council’s best value policy and provides for continuous improvement in the service. 

Non-Edinburgh Leisure Sports Facilities

There is a small range of facilities not included under the management of Edinburgh Leisure.  These include some football pitches, bowling greens and tennis courts.  These facilities are leased directly by City of Edinburgh Council to community groups and clubs.
