Museums and galleries shopsThe Museums and Galleries operated by the City of Edinburgh Council incorporate shops selling a range of merchandise relevant to the collections in each venue. The shop at the City Art Centre stocks a wide range of books on Scottish art, art prints, posters, ceramics, glass, jewellery, stationery and lots more. Please note that it will be closed from March to December 2009. The shop at the Museum of Childhood is an Aladdin’s cave crammed full of quality toys and children’s books including reproductions of period games and toys. In The Writers’ Museum, the shop stocks a wide range of books by Scottish writers, stationery, and associated collectables.
