We will be adding a lot more to these pages over the next few months, so please keep checking for more information.

The only charges we make are for copies of information. You don’t have to make an appointment to use the library. Useful family history resources can be found in the Edinburgh Room, Reference Library and Scottish Library.

We can give you general advice and help, but we can’t undertake lengthy research on your behalf.

And remember – tracing your family tree can be addictive!
