Edinburgh College Of Art Centre for Continuing Studies

The CCS offers an extensive range of art study courses all year round, including daytime classes, evening classes, weekend courses and short one week courses in the spring and summer. Students may study either for personal interest or apply for acceptance on the part-time degree programme. Credits are available for most courses leading to the award of a BA in Combined Studies allowing students the opportunity for flexible study over a number of years.

Edinburgh's Telford College

Edinburgh's Telford College was founded in 1968 and has since grown to become one of the largest Further Education colleges in Britain, with over 20,000 students. Courses are available at different levels, ranging from Introductory courses through to Degree. Students can choose to study full-time or on a part-time basis either through work based, day release, evening or open learning programmes, all ideal learning methods for those in employment or with other commitments.

Leith School of Art is a college offering full and part-time courses for people wishing to study art and design from beginner level to more advanced. Oatridge College

The College offers training in the land-based industries. Full and part-time courses are available in Animal Care, Agriculture, Horticulture, Greenkeeping, Landscaping, Engineering, Farriery, Equine Studies and Countryside Management. We also recruit and deliver training as part of Scottish Racing Academy. In addition, various short industrial courses and leisure classes are offered in a variety of subject areas. The Open University in Scotland

The Open University offers hundreds of courses in a wide variety of subjects. You can choose to study a single course or work towards a diploma, BA/BSc degree, or a postgraduate or professional qualification. For many courses, you do not need any formal qualifications and extra support is available if you have not studied for some time. The Open University offers supported open learning - which allows students to work at home in their own time within a structured framework and with tutor support. This makes the Open University ideally suited to people wishing to work and study at the same time. Financial support may also be available for students on low income.
