The Assessment and Advice Service is responsible for carrying out person centred assessments of housing and support need for customers requesting:

• Housing Support Services
• Community Alarm Services
• Telecare Services
• Adaptations
• Alternative housing
• Sheltered Housing Support Services

The Assessment and Advice Service members include:

• Social Work Professionals
• Health Care Workers
• Housing Professionals

This is to ensure that your needs are fully taken into account when we carry out an assessment and make recommendations in response to your housing needs.

During the assessment we will look at your ability to manage within your own home and give advice on possible solutions to help you remain in your own home or to find a more suitable home.
