Waste Aware Edinburgh

The Waste Aware Edinburgh campaign aims to change public attitudes and behaviour towards waste and persuade the people of Edinburgh to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

The campaign will back up new services being provided to the residents of Edinburgh and should see the recycling rate in the city rise to 30% by 2008.

Recycling facilities across the city will greatly increase as a result of the funding and the new and enhanced recycling facilities will help to deliver an additional one million tonnes of recycled materials by 2020.
