Haymarket Urban Design Framework - Consultation Draft

Haymarket Urban Design Framework - Consultation Draft

The Planning Committee, at its meeting of the 15th May, approved the report ‘Haymarket Urban Design Framework’ (The Framework) for consultation.

The main purpose of The Framework is to set out a series of development principles on which redevelopment proposals for the area should be based.  These principles highlight important urban features and at a more detailed level, principles for establishing new edges, spaces and connections around the Haymarket Junction.  They will allow individual development proposals to be determined within a wider context.
