From this page you can download planning application forms for the City of Edinburgh Council. Please note that when you submit a planning application, the information will appear on the Planning Register and the completed forms and any associated documentation will also be published on the Council's website.

You can view updated Scale of fees as of the 1st April 2007 for planning applications. The City of Edinburgh Council cannot deal with your application unless the appropriate fee accompanies it.

Full Planning Permission – D1 Pack

Householder Planning Permission for House Alterations and Extensions – D2 Pack

Listed Building Consent Form - LB Pack

Application for Listed Building Consent which includes instructions for completing the application, Certificates of Ownership, and Notice for Service on Owners of the Land. A listed building consent must accompany the application for planning permission if the application relates to works on a listed building.

Edinburgh Standards for Sustainable Building Sustainability Statement Form - S1 Pack

'Major' Applications for planning permission (i.e. those over 1000 square metres floor area, 10 residential units or sites of 0.5 hectares or more) must be accompanied by a Sustainability Statement Form.  Guidance Notes are included within the pack.
