Commenting on planning applicationsYou have a right to comment on any planning application. You can either object or support or even just make comments and we will consider them when we determine the application provided they are material planning matters. Your comments cannot be treated in confidence as they form part of the public record of the planning application and they will be published on the Council's website. All signatures, phone numbers and email addresses have been hidden from public view from comments received since 1st December 2007. Anonymous or racist comments will not be taken into account. The ability to submit comments is time sensitive whether online or by writing to us. If the application is not advertised and has no site notice, you have 21 days from the date of validation to get your comments to us . If the application has been advertised or has had a site notice put up, you have 21 days from the date of advert or site notice. Click on Important Dates to find out when you must comment by. You will be unable to comment online once these dates have expired. Your on-line comment will be registered and taken into account in the normal way and you will receive notification of the final decision.
