Building Standards Register

The City of Edinburgh Council, as verifier in terms of the Building (Scotland) Act 2003, is required to maintain a register of Building Warrants, Completion Certificates and Enforcement Notices. Information on each specific subject is listed below.

Building Warrants and Completion Certificates

The Building Standards Section have a Public Access Module which enables the public to search all Building Warrants and related Completion Certificates.

Enforcement Notices

The link below provides a list of Enforcement Notices served by the Council in terms of the Building (Scotland) Act 2003. This list is updated by the Building Standards Section of the City Development Department on a regular basis listing those Notices served since 1st May 2005.
