Service Plans

Service Plans are a key management tool for the Council. Service Plans have been developed in consultation with departmental staff who provide 'on the ground' information on how the service is running and what improvement opportunities exist. These Plans form the basis of the Council's Corporate Plan and reflect the key activities for the coming financial year.

The purpose of Service Planning is to explain what the Council will deliver to the people of Edinburgh in terms of:

  • Solving / managing problems

  • Developing opportunities

  • Delivering benefits.
