Head Teacher Appointments Committee
The function of this committee is to consider and appoint applicants to head teacher posts in educational establishments in terms of the School Boards (Scotland) Act 1988.
Current members
Members of the Committee are drawn from a Panel of elected members and nominees of the School Board.
Recruitment Committee
The function of this committee is to short list and interview candidates and recommend an appointment to the Council for posts at Director and Head of Service level (Chief Officials).
Current members
Leader, Deputy Leader, Executive Member for Human and Corporate Resources, Executive Member for service area, Opposition Group spokespersons.
