Outlook ProjectAn Adult Education Project - for people who use mental health services in Edinburgh Outlook is a Community Education Project that enables adults who use Mental Health Services to take up a variety of educational opportunities, through offering individual guidance, information and support. Outlook also offers a range of free, short adult education courses, providing a space for people to regain the confidence and skills they need to access wider options. GUIDANCE
The project worker will adhere to a code of confidentiality regarding any personal details provided. Outlook courses are run to provide students with an opportunity to learn about new subjects or develop existing skills and interests and to gain the confidence to pursue these interests further. Courses are usually 2 hours per week over a 4-10 week period, with approx. 3-10 students per course, depending on the subject. Outlook runs a varied programme of courses ranging from computing, languages and art to outdoor activities and sports. Courses are held in a variety of venues, approximately four times a year. Every Outlook course is a voluntary option and free of charge.
