Northfield/Willowbrae Community Centre

Northfield/Willowbrae Community Centre is situated in east Edinburgh and serves the communities of Northfield, Willowbrae and Piershill.

The centre opened in 1970 and comprises a sports hall, meeting rooms, and cafe. An additional general purpose area named the Alexander Wing was built on to the Centre in 1984 and is utilised as a meeting place for a variety of groups.

Football pitches and a children's playground are adjacent to the building although the centre has no responsibility for the latter. The Royal High Primary School is located close by. The centre operates a weekly programme offering a range of mainly social and recreational activities for local people.

Programme Profile:
The centre offers diverse activities such as Highland Dancing, Tae Kwon Do, Indoor Bowling, Parent and Toddlers groups and both Senior and Junior Youth Clubs.
