Allotments

Allotments can be hired by individuals or groups. Most allotment sites are fully serviced with water and are secure. Soil types vary from medium to light loam, allowing for good drainage.

There is a rental fee for an annual allotment plot with concessionary rates for:

• People receiving Income Support
• Family Credit or Widows/Widowers Pension
• UB40 holders, People aged 60 years and over
• People not in full-time employment
• People with disabilities, YT trainees, ET Trainees and full time students.
