Applying for Retailers’ and Trades’ Permits

It will soon be possible to apply for your Retailers’ and Trades’ permits online using the Council’s online permit suite (which should become available within the next few weeks). The permit suite will allow users to complete and submit retailers’ and trades’ permit applications online and will also provide access to permit accounts, allowing users to change vehicle details.

Until such a time that the online application process is available and fully functional the Council will be accepting paper applications.

Guidance notes and application forms for both retailers’ and trades’ parking permits are available for download below or from the Council’s collections office at 249 High Street. Applicants should read through the guidance notes thoroughly before attempting to complete their application form.

Completed applications can be posted or handed into the Council’s collections office at the following address:
