Online Short Breaks Information Service

Search for short breaks (all ages and client groups) using Shared Care Scotland's new online directory.

The Online Short Break Informaton Service (OSBIS) was launched by Shared Care Scotland during Carers Week 2008 with 100 short break services already listed. They are continuing to add services on a week to week basis. Their aim over the next 3 years is to make OSBIS the most comprehensive directory of its kind - a 'one-stop shop' for people searching for short breaks. You can help them expand the directory by telling them of any services not listed that you think ought to be.

• Mary Hunter, volunteer administrator. Mary is currently increasing the number of befriending type services on the directory.
• Telephone support 01383 622 462 (office hours). Offered by Shared Care Scotland as well as the online directory, if you can't find what you are looking for, don't have internet access or prefer to speak to a real person! Lesley Gudgeon is the main contact for this service.
